The representative of the Municipality of Pontiac in Quebec, William Amos, at an online meeting of the Canadian parliament, relieved of his needs, reports “BBC”.
“I am deeply embarrassed by my actions and the suffering they may cause to anyone who has witnessed them,” Amos apologized.
He called the case “unacceptable” but “accidental”. Amos also said he would be temporarily unable to perform some of his duties, but would continue to represent his constituents in the Canadian parliament. He is forced to “ask for help”, but the politician did not explain what kind of help he needed.
William Amos is a member of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s ruling Liberal Party. At the end of April, he also hit the headlines by participating naked in another videoconference with parliamentarians. Next, Amos said he admits the mistake that arose because he didn’t have time to change clothes after a race and promised it wouldn’t happen again.
