MONTREAL, KOMPAS.com – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wrapped up his campaign on Sunday (9/19/2021) evening local time ahead of the 2021 Canadian election.
The 2021 Canadian election will take place on Monday (9/20/2021). Thanks to a speech during Trudeau’s last campaign, the Liberal Party he leads can certainly end the Covid-19 pandemic.
While making the pledge, Trudeau accused his main rival of taking the wrong approach.

The 2021 Canadian election brings together two strong candidates for Prime Minister Trudeau and Erin O’Toole from the Conservative Party.
Trudeau envisions a three-term term by winning the election in Canada this time around, while Erin O’Toole is a rising recruit.

Trudeau supports the vaccine’s mandate while O’Toole rejects it. O’Toole prefers mass testing to monitor a public health crisis.
O’Toole’s name has emerged in the 2021 Canadian election over the past five weeks, although it is relatively unknown to the public.

O’Toole became leader of the Conservative Party a year ago amid the Covid-19 pandemic Reuters.
“We don’t need a Conservative government that won’t be able to show leadership on immunization and the science we need to end this,” Trudeau said.
Trudeau added that Canadians need to make the right choices in this year’s election.
Sunday is the last day of the Canadian election campaign. During the election on Monday, parties participating in the election were not allowed to campaign.
Trudeau campaigned across Canada. While O’Toole focuses on parliamentary constituencies near Toronto, Canada’s largest city.

Polls show that neither the Liberals nor the Conservatives have the 38% public support needed to occupy a parliamentary majority in the House of Commons.
If no one wins an absolute majority of the 338 seats in the House of Commons, Canada’s election will be decided by the party with the plurality of seats to form Canada’s fifth minority government since 2004.
The Trudeau government broke a sovereign debt record to fight the pandemic. O’Toole criticized that Trudeau would accumulate more debt if he was re-elected.
Aiming to broaden his appeal, O’Toole attempted to move his party to the center, taking a more progressive stance on gay rights and climate change.
“We are not the old Conservative Party. We’re reaching out to everyone, ”O’Toole told fans at a restaurant in Oakville, Ont.
