by Ainsley Ingram

From a restaurant that offers delightfully surprising dishes with countless twists in presentation to another that’s hailed as a culinary haven with imaginative and exquisite cuisine, here are Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants of 2024.

Canada’s 100 Best magazine released its annual list on Monday Top restaurants in the country.

A record 150 voting judges, including 20 new members of the magazine, determined which restaurant made the cut. The panel consisted of food professionals, culinary fans, restaurateurs including chefs, and food writers and critics.

The judges evaluated restaurants based on the overall dining experience, particularly the quality of the food as well as the service, furnishings and depth of the wine cellar. Each judge had to vote for at least three restaurants outside of their home region.

Montreal’s Mon Lapin was the best restaurant among the 100 in the rankings, while Edulis was the best restaurant in Toronto, coming in second overall.
