Since 2015, the Canadian government has implemented a series of accelerated admission programs (Express Entry Programs) aiming to select qualified foreign workers on the basis of their skills and ability to contribute to the economy of Canada.
Express Entry processes applications for three economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Trades Program, the Canadian Experience Class, and the Federal Skilled Worker Program.

More specifically, to be eligible for the latter program, applicants must meet certain minimum requirements in terms of qualified work experience, language skills and education.
If they meet all the minimum requirements, the application will be assessed on the basis of age, education, work experience, if you have a job offer valid language skills, English and / or French and adaptability.
These factors are part of a 100 point grid used to assess program eligibility. The current pass mark is 67 points. Once a person is selected from the Express Entry group, the government selects the highest ranked applicants and invites them to apply for permanent residence.

Among the requirements that applicants must certify is qualified work experience in any of the following areas workgroups, according to the National Occupational Classification (CNP):
-Management jobs (skill type 0): management jobs, such as
restaurant managers, mine managers, shore captains (fishing).
-Professional jobs (skill level A): professional jobs that generally require a university degree, such as doctors, dentists or architects.
-Skilled technical jobs and trades (skill level B): specialized technical jobs and trades that generally require a college diploma or apprenticeship training, such as cooks, plumbers, electricians.

0112 Human resources managers
0113 Purchasing managers
0114 Other directors of administrative services
0121 Insurance, real estate and financing brokerage managers
0122 Banking, credit and other investment managers
0124 Head of advertising, marketing and public relations
0125 Other business service managers
0131 Managers of telecommunications operators
0132 Postal and courier service managers
0211 Engineering directors
0212 Architecture and science managers
