Los Angeles: Members of Shania Twain’s tour team, who were in Canada as part of the singer’s ongoing tour, were in a serious bus accident. Up to 13 people were injured in the accident and were immediately taken to nearby hospitals. All are reportedly out of danger and are being treated for “non-life-threatening injuries.”

According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the highway accident between Winnipeg and Saskatoon occurred due to bad weather. Following the accident, the 58-year-old Grammy winner’s management company Maverick Management issued a statement to multiple media outlets. “A Shania Twain – Queen Of Me tour team bus and truck were involved in a highway accident on the route between Winnipeg and Saskatoon,” the company said.

“Several vehicles experienced hazardous driving conditions due to the inclement weather,” the company continued. “Members of the production team who required medical attention were taken to area hospitals.” The company also assured that Shania was not on the bus during the accident. The company added: “We are incredibly grateful to the emergency services teams for their rapid response and ongoing support. We ask for your patience as we care for our traveling family.”

Shania started the “Queen Of Me” tour in April. On November 7, she made a stop in Winnipeg, Canada to perform some of her hits for her followers. She is scheduled to perform again on November 9th. However, it remains unclear whether the crash will impact the upcoming performance.
