Rome, May 10 (EFE).- The Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime eliminated the Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich from the Masters 1000 in Rome in an intense match of almost three hours, 4-6, 7-6 (2) and 6- 2.
The Spaniard started the match well, played on the completely full ‘Pietrangelo’ court. He withstood the onslaught of the tournament’s eighth seed and played with precision at key moments. Davidovich grew at the end of the first set, when he managed to break his opponent’s serve to take advantage of the duel.
