Kanata North Business Association (KNBA), Canada’s largest technology park, unveiled what will now become the Hub350 global advanced technology hub.

The hub called Hub350 represents the creation of a physical community to support members and their employees, community partners and sponsors. KNBA President and CEO Jamie Petten said the center will serve as “the gateway to Canada’s largest technology park”.

“It will be a gateway to growth, to finance, to talent, to success,” said Petten. “The Hub350 space will be the true crossroads of nature and technology: a trendy and natural atmosphere to attract world-class talent and businesses, while presenting Kanata North as the Canadian destination to live, work, play and learn. “.

The center will be supported and connected to three pillars: the private sector, finance and academia, in order to connect members of the technology park with a wide range of resources that will support its continued growth. Hub350 will better facilitate presentations for member companies of funding sources, research and new talent.

The new center is also intended to be the headquarters of Discover Technata, Canada’s largest tech job site. As part of the business association’s economic stimulus plan to accelerate innovation during the pandemic, Discover Technata is seeking to attract job seekers from around the world to Kanata North of Ottawa. There are currently over 10,000 open positions listed on the Discover Technata job site, and over 500 positions available locally with member companies located in the Kanata North Technology Park.

The platform’s job board brings together more than 500 companies with tens of thousands of job seekers, becoming a one-stop-shop for those looking for opportunities in a field showing growth and employment activity. unprecedented.
