NHL postpones eight more games due to spectator restrictions

The NHL has postponed nine regular season games due to the coronavirus situation, including eight due to restrictions on playing games in Canada. reported on the league website.
The New York Islanders have been canceled for their games in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary, as well as the Islanders’ game against Seattle as part of this tour, which was scheduled for Jan. 4-11.
Also postponed are the games Ottawa – Minnesota (January 3), Edmonton – Minnesota (January 12), Edmonton – Vegas (January 14), Calgary – Vegas (January 15) and Winnipeg vs Edmonton (January 16).
