Russian speed skater Viktor Mushtakov won the 500m at the World Cup in Calgary, Canada.
Mushtakov set a track record (33.903 seconds), surpassing the achievement of compatriot Pavel Kulizhnikov (34,000).
The second was the Japanese Yuma Murakami (33,991), the third – the Canadian Laurent Dubreuil (34,064). Russian Ruslan Murashov showed the 14th result (34.364), Artem Arefiev – 20th (1.09.664).
