DENPASAR, KOMPAS.com – Indonesian boxing living legend Pino Bahari has a knack for finding young boxers.
Along with Charlie Usfunan, promoter of Bali Boxing III recreational boxing, Pino hosted a recreational boxing event in Bali.
Information from Bali Boxing Day III promoter Charlie Usfunan, activities include 22 recreational matches.

The recreational competition involved 6 foreigners and other participants.
“They come from Bali and from outside Bali,” Charlie Usfunan said.

Charlie said the program would be ongoing.
“We believe that through this program we can attract young boxing athletes,” said Charlie Usfunan.
From Bali, the appeal of boxing shifted to other areas outside of sport.
Former Indonesian boxer, Pino Bahari through his foundation, Yayasan Pino Bahari Indonesia (YPBI), organized Boxing Day III on Saturday (4/12/2021).
“We are developing sports tourism,” he said.
According to him, the combination of sport and tourism is a support program for the government.
“Our goal is to increase tourism to Bali,” Pino said.
Boxing Day III doesn’t just involve boxers.
The general public from various professions can participate.
“We organized the event by training (training) together,” said Pino Bahari.
According to Pino, this activity has generated a lot of interest from expats in Bali.
