President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s delegation arrived in Washington DC this afternoon to participate in the North American Leaders’ Summit.
At Dulles airport, in the capital of the American Union, Chancellor Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of the Economy, Tatiana Clouthier; the Under-Secretary for Health, Hugo López-Gatell; and the director for North America of the Department of Foreign Relations, Roberto Velasco.
Official activities will begin tomorrow at 11:00 am at the Mexican Institute of Culture, where the bilateral meeting between Mexico and Canada will take place, with the participation of López Obrador and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Later, at 1:30 p.m., the president will meet with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris as a preamble to the bilateral meeting between Mexico and the United States at 3:00 p.m., both acting at the White House.
The agenda ends at 5:00 p.m. with the main event of the summit: the trilateral meeting between Mexico, the United States and Canada, also at the White House, and with the presence of the three leaders.
The spokesperson for the federal government announced in the logistics that from the activities on the agenda, greetings and the first messages can be drawn.
