Vladislav Namestnikov scored spectacular brace against Edmonton, video – November 10, 2021

Detroit Red Wings forward could be an exceptional season Vladislav Namestnikov… The striker, who has long been considered an all-rounder, able to play in any position, who was very convenient to play with and when he “carried the piano”, declared himself during the current regular season as an independent major figure. In the opening 14 games of the 2021/2022 season, Vladislav has already scored almost as much as the entire year before, and the game against Edmonton, where the McDavid-Dreiseitl bond shines, was a revelation. And this despite the fact that in the “Red Wings”, the Viceroy goes to his usual third link, and his partners are not at all stellar Gagne and Stevens.

Nonetheless, during the meeting with the “Oilmen” the Russian flashed so that Detroit’s 92nd number was brighter and more effective than Edmonton’s 97th number. Namestnikov’s first puck in the match deserved special words, when midway through the first period the Russian managed a spectacular solo pass: having received a pass from Sam won, Vlad accelerated, covered the puck with his defenseman’s body Tyson barry and I just threw it in front of the goalie Stuart skinner.

Early in the second period, Omestnikov scored a brace to score 2-0 in favor of Detroit. This puck proved to be as effective as it could get – Vladislav watched a goalie rebound and played successfully in the end. The striker had more than half of the game left to try and score a hat-trick, but he couldn’t score his third goal, ending the game with four shots on target.

The goal in an empty net went to German rookie defender Moritz Sieder.

McDavid, by comparison, only managed two shots, but the Oilers captain didn’t come away scoreless. He tried to organize his team’s “comeback” by scoring the puck in the first minute of the third period. It was Connor’s ninth goal this season, and he and Dreiseitl continue to lead the season’s top scorers list.

As for Namestnikov, he is no longer content with knocking on the doors of the Russian Olympic team at the Beijing Games, but outright hammering them hard, when initially Vlad was hardly considered a serious candidate.

“Governors are a completely different player this year”– said a Red Wings fan on Twitter Yzerman SZN.

“The viceroys will be won by the Maurice Richard Trophy. Ideal for Detroit– admired Detroit News columnist Greg Krupa.

“If we play like this in every game, it will be a good season. Do I have a goal left before the goals I scored last year? I don’t know why this is so. Last season was unusual, strange, this pandemic … The summer I was well prepared and happy to help the team. We want to be the guys the opponent thinks of, “Wow those guys are tough to go up against”, – Said Namestnikov himself after the victory over Edmonton.
