The Detroit Red Wings beat the Edmonton Oilers in a regular season National Hockey League (NHL) game.

The game, which took place in Detroit at Little Seasars Arena, ended 4-2 in favor of the hosts. Among the winners, Vladislav Namestnikov scored a brace, Dylan Larkin and Moritz Seider also stood out. Esse Pullyujarvi and Connor McDavid scored the guests’ goals.

Edmonton broke their four-game winning streak in the regular season. This is the Red Wings’ third consecutive victory.

In the next meeting, Detroit will host the Washington Capitals, while Edmonton will face the Boston Bruins on the road.

It was previously reported that Carolina Hurricanes beat Tampa Bay Lightning in overtime.
