It was the first round where Pendrith was great, posting a score of 61. He went -10 as he had 10 birdies and zero bogeys. On Thursday, Pendrith made birdies on the first, third, fourth, sixth, seventh, 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th and 16th holes. Then on Friday, Pendrith even shot par. He had four birdies and four bogeys. He birdied the second, 10th, 13th and 15th holes and bogeyed the first, ninth, 11th and 16th holes.
