Chase Brown of London, Ontario had an outstanding performance in the Cincinnati Bengals’ 34-24 victory over the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday. Brown recorded his first two career rushing touchdowns as Cincinnati picked up its first win of the season after losing its first three games in 2024.

Brown opened the scoring with a three-yard touchdown run with five seconds left in the first quarter. He then scored the first touchdown of the second half on a one-yard run four minutes and 22 seconds into the third quarter, giving the Bengals a 28-14 lead.

Interestingly, a second Canadian had a touchdown in the game. Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard from Edmonton, Alberta, tied the game with seven points five minutes, 29 seconds into the second quarter.

In 2024, Brown has 29 rushes for 184 rushing yards. He also has seven catches for 31 receiving yards.

Last season, Brown had one touchdown catch. It was a 54-yard touchdown catch by Jake Browning in the Bengals’ 34-14 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on December 10th. The touchdown reception was the longest catch of his career and gave the Bengals a 7-0 lead at the time. Chase’s twin brother, Sydney Brown, is a safety for the Philadelphia Eagles.
