The Canadian Screen Awards, presented by the non-profit Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, are an annual celebration of the country’s talent in film, television and digital. The awards ceremony began in 2013 following the merger of the Academy’s Gemini and Genie Awards, which honored English-language television and film respectively.
This year’s awards will be presented later this week, culminating in an in-depth awards ceremony on May 31st, hosted by Mae Martin.
The 2024 Canadian Screen Awards will air on May 31 at 7 p.m. CT on CBC and CBC Jewel.
