Monahan played for six teams in the NHL from 1974 to 1981. He played for the California Golden Seals in 1973-74, the New York Rangers in 1974-75, the Washington Capitals in 1975-1977 and the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1977-78. the Los Angeles Kings 1977-78 and the St. Louis Blues from 1979 to 1981.
In 334 games, Monahan scored 61 goals and 80 assists for 141 points. He was a -120 with 163 penalty minutes, 19 power play points, five shorthanded points, seven game-winning goals and 520 shots on goal. Monahan, also known as the son-in-law of Montreal Hockey Hall of Famer Bernie Geoffrion, played his junior hockey with the Montreal Junior Canadiens.
Carr played for five teams in the NHL from 1971 to 1979. He was with the St. Louis Blues in 1971, with the New York Rangers from 1971 to 1974, with the Los Angeles Kings from 1974 to 1977 and with the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1977 to 1978. and the Atlanta Flames from 1978 to 1979. In 465 games, Carr scored 79 goals and 136 assists for 215 points. He was a +11 with 365 penalty minutes, 42 power play points, two shorthanded points, 12 game-winning goals and 741 shots on goal.
