Krista Ross is a business and community leader who has worked for the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce for 20 years (from 1989 to 1997 and from 2011 to 2023). During her time with the organization, Ms. Ross served as Chief Executive Officer for twelve years and as General Manager for eight years. In these roles, she was a leading voice supporting the development of Fredericton and New Brunswick as a place of opportunity for individuals, businesses and community organizations.
In addition to her work at the chamber, Ms. Ross owned EP Services Inc., a commercial real estate holding company, from 2011 until earlier this year. She was also co-owner of the Kwik Kopy Design and Print Center (now Allegra) from 1997 to 2011.
Ms. Ross recently served as a Commissioner on the Electoral Boundaries and Representation Commission for New Brunswick. She is also a board member of the Fredericton Community Foundation, the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Business Advisory Board and the Ignite Fredericton Seed Board. She is an active supporter of immigration and provides mentorship and support to newcomers to Canada.
Ms. Ross was celebrated for her civic engagement and business leadership. She was recently named a member of the Chamber of Commerce Executives Council of Excellence, twice named Chamber Executive of the Year in Canada and named a Top 50 CEO for Atlantic Canada. She is also the recipient of the Advocacy in Action Silver Award from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. In 2022, she was recognized as an Alumna of Distinction by New Brunswick Community College and also received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.
She holds a business degree from New Brunswick Community College. Ms. Ross and her daughter Rachel live in Fredericton.
