This event features over 40 craft and technology competitions for more than 500 participants from across Canada. SCNC Winnipeg 2023 had over 13,000 visiting students, a record-breaking number. Through its events and programs, SCC connects young people and encourages them to discover and explore the many exciting and lucrative careers in these sectors.
“With approximately 700,000 skilled workers set to retire this decade, this investment comes at a critical time,” said Shaun Thorson, SCC’s chief executive officer. “We are grateful for the continued support of the SCC government in their work to empower Canada’s future workforce.”
