The constant appearance of the homophobic cry which forbade FIFA brought different problems to the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) and in particular at mexican team. The most recent sanction consisted of two rounds of veto and a financial fine of 100,000 Swiss francs (2,288,000 Mexican pesos) due to altercations during the game against Canada and Honduras.

Once again the Sorting He will play on the ground of the Azteca stadium without his audience. Not satisfied with the decision, the FMF would appeal the sanction and seek a way to remove the sanctions imposed by FIFA. Agree with ESPN the Mexican authorities will contact the FIFA Appeal Committee to revoke the parties without public and the fine.

There is great disagreement within the Federation over the disproportion of penalties compared to other teams, in which the measures were minor and the degree of veto of the amateur public was not achieved.

For this, the FMF would have two convincing arguments to appeal the sanction. The main one revolves around actions taken by arbitrators of the indicated parts. In duels with the Canadians and Hondurans, the main whistlers of the games triggered the protocol which determined the FIFA.

But the third step, which indicates the eviction of the players from the court for a few minutes. As soon as the discriminating chant was detected, the first step began: the game was stopped for a moment, the local sound asked fans not to use the phrase and to respect the rival.

When the song sounded, the second stage was activated, the local sound emphasized the behavior of the audience, and some fans who used the phrase were kicked out. With this protocol, the baton was no longer heard, so the FMF considered “exaggerated” the sentence that was imposed, according to the source ESPN.

The second argument is based on the different actions that the FMF eradicate the sentence in the stadiums. His efforts and the various campaigns promoted in Liga MX will be the card he will play with to avoid sanction, because according to the FMF informant in ESPN, Mexico is one of the main countries that has worked to eradicate discrimination in football, so they consider themselves not to be creditors of two veto matches.

In addition, to execute the call they will ask for the complete file of the case, because the Federation only received the notification of the fine and the sanction. They haven’t gotten to know in depth the reasons why FIFA seized the proceedings to expel the Mexican fans for the next two games they will have at home.

Another drawback is what happened at the Cuscatlán stadium in The Savior. As of the last playoff date of the concacaf hexagon, Mexico came as a visitor to the Salvadoran field and the reception of the local supporters was not pleasant.

Throughout the match, people on the sports venue threw various objects on the pitch. One of the Aztec players who was touched by such behavior was Memo Ochoa, because behind his goal have fallen various objects that have invaded his playing area.

The Salvadoran Football Federation was only punished with one financial fine of 12,500 Swiss francs, which would be an estimate of USD 13,700. In El Salvador, they were not informed of any veto or game behind closed doors, which annoyed the Mexican authorities because, in their opinion, the sanction should have been similar to that imposed on them.
