International guest panel discusses political toxicity

TVO’s Steve Paikin will host a panel with guests from both sides of the political spectrum and the Canada-US border on Sunday at Art Windsor Essex (formerly Art Gallery of Windsor) to discuss the topic “Are our politics becoming toxic?”

The show is the second TVO Today Live event of the season and airs at 3:55 p.m.

Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens, Michigan State Senator Stephanie Chang, former United States Ambassador to Canada Bruce Heyman, former Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi, Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament for Calgary Nose Hill Michelle Rempel Garner and political commentator, consultant and author Tasha Kheiriddin will be part of the panel. .

The discussion will include how politics is naturally divisive and whether public conversation has become toxic, and if so, what has contributed to this new reality.

The event is open to the public and a question and answer session with the public will follow the discussion.
