Club striker NHL San Jose Sharks Evander Kane has received 21 game suspension for breaking league covid protocol. The Canadian ice hockey player will not be able to help his club until the end of November.
The 30-year-old is accused of missing the team’s training camp, as well as missing the season opener against the Winnipeg Jets. According to the official NHL website, Kane will be able to participate in regular season games again starting November 30. On that date, the Sharks are expected to play against the New Jersey Devils.
During the exclusion period, Kane will lose his earnings, it is specified in the collective agreement. His salary during his absence from the match will go to the Emergency Player Fund.
