On day two, Mexical’s Anel Félix also had action, who remained in the quarterfinals after losing in three sets to Chile’s Fernanda Aguirre in the -57 kilogram division.

Anel Félix had won the first round 12-10, but the South American came back to win the second 5-4 and the third 9-0; In her first fight, the cachanilla had left the Venezuelan Genesis González on the road by 8-5 and 10-3.

After participating in the G4 Pan American Championship, Baja Californians Daniela Souza, champion in -49 kilograms, Leslie Soltero and Anel Félix will have the opportunity to add points to the world ranking, heading to Paris 2024, in the Dominican Open which will distribute 20 points for first place, twelve for second and eight for third.
