The 2024 Stanley Cup Finals concluded on Monday with the Florida Panthers winning the Stanley Cup, defeating the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 in the seventh and deciding game. With this victory, the Panthers won the best of seven series, four games to three. In total, there are nine Canadians whose name will be on the Stanley Cup. Aaron Ekblad–The defender from Windsor, Ontario, scored one goal and five assists for six points in 24 postseason games.
Ryan Lomberg–The left winger from Richmond Hill, Ontario, scored zero points in eight postseason games.
Steven Lorentz–The forward from Kitchener, Ontario, scored two goals and one assist for three points in 16 postseason games.
Brandon Montour–The defender from Brantford, Ontario, scored three goals and eight assists for 11 points in 24 postseason games.
Sam Reinhart–The center from West Vancouver, British Columbia, scored 10 goals and six assists for 16 points in 24 playoff games, including the game-winning goal in the seventh game.
Evan Rodrigues–The center from Toronto, Ontario, scored seven goals and eight assists for 15 points in 24 postseason games.
Carter Verhaeghe–The Toronto center scored 11 goals and 10 assists for 21 points in 24 postseason games. This is Verhaeghe’s second Stanley Cup, as he won it with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2020.
