Philadelphia (USA), Nov 9 (EFE) .- Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo posted a 31-point, 16-rebound double-double with the Milwaukee Bucks, who beat the decimated Sixers on Philadelphia Route 109-118.

The NBA champions played a day after celebrating the franchise’s first title in 50 years with a trip to visit Democratic President Joe Biden in the White House.

The Bucks won for the second time in the last seven games played.

Guard Grayson Allen had 25 points and forward Bobby Portis also posted a 19-point, 16-rebound double-double for the Bucks (5-6).

Allen hit a triple wrench late in the fourth quarter that made the difference.

For the Sixers (8-4), the top scorer was goaltender Tyrese Maxey with 31 points.

Substitute forward Georges Niang had 21 points and point guard Shake Milton added 20 points and six assists as the Philadelphia team’s game manager.

The Sixers played without the four-time All-Star, Cameroon center Joel Embiid, for the second game in a row.

Embiid was one of four Sixers eliminated due to NBA health and safety protocols, along with forward Tobias Harris and guards Matisse Thybulle and Isaiah Joe.
